Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Scroll Tax account and the data attached to it at any time. There are two ways to do it.

From inside the app

• Open Scroll Tax and go to the Profile tab.
• Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
• Confirm in the dialog. The deletion happens immediately.

By email

If you no longer have the app installed, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my account. We verify that the request comes from the account owner and delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to your account is erased and cannot be recovered:

• Your account: email address, display name and profile photo.
• Your Google or Apple sign-in link and all active sessions.
• Your screen-time wallet and its full transaction history.
• Your reading progress, completed ideas and saved items.
• Your blocking schedules and the list of apps you chose to block.
• Your subscription record on our side.

What we keep, and for how long

We retain payment records (the amount, date and store transaction id) as required by tax and accounting law, for as long as that law requires. These records are detached from your account when it is deleted, so they no longer identify you.

Your subscription is separate

Subscriptions are billed by Google Play or the App Store, not by us, so deleting your account here does not cancel one. If you have an active subscription, cancel it in Google Play › Subscriptions or in iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or you will keep being charged.
